These Calgary markets are coming up this summer

Summertime in Calgary means it’s time to get outside. But if scaling a mountain every weekend isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the beautiful weather. Outdoor markets abound in every corner of the city, selling everything from artisan wares and handmade goods to tasty food served alongside live music and quintessential summer vibes.

And the season is just getting started! Here are all the summer markets you can still check out in Calgary.

What: It doesn’t get more local than this. This market features Indigenous artists and makers selling arts, crafts, jewellery, and beadwork alongside curated events.

When: Friday, July 11 to 13, 2025; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Telus Convention Centre

What: Stop by Calgary’s oldest neighbourhood for a modern market with locally sourced and handmade vendors. Shop everything from handmade crafts to vintage clothing, antiques and collectibles, artisan eats and more!

When: Friday, July 11 and Friday, Aug. 8, 2025; 5 to 10 p.m.
Where: 10th Avenue and 10th Street SE near The Nash Restaurant

What: Take advantage of a sunny day as you browse market stalls from local sellers and artisans on Stephen Avenue.

When: Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | July 15, 22, 29 and Aug. 12, 19, 26, 2025
Where: Stephen Ave., Calgary.

What: Enjoy a little market fun after dark. Come visit the neighbourhood of Kensington to shop artisan wares from local businesses and makers.

When: Thursdays 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. | July 25 and Aug. 7, 21, 2025
Where: Parking lot 1209 Kensington Rd. NW, Calgary.

What: Check out a Saturday Farmers Market in the beloved neighbourhood of Marda Loop. Shop 50+ local farmers, growers, bakers and makers featuring Alberta-made products and live performances.

When: Saturdays until Oct. 4, 2025; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: cSpace Marda Loop — 1721 29th Ave. SW, Calgary.

What: Shop local vendors and explore the shops in the Plaza at Heritage Park. There will be food to eat, live entertainment to enjoy, and a pet-friendly atmosphere, so you can bring your dog along for the experience.

When: Saturdays from 2 to 8 p.m. |  July 12, 19, 26 and Aug. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Where: Plaza at Heritage Park — 1900 Heritage Dr. SW, Calgary.
