“Latest scam account pretending to be me,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of an account with the username “williamshatner2957,” adding, “🙄 Be aware!”
In January, Shater posted all of his official social media handles after imposters posing as him scammed unsuspecting fans.
“I am 🚨**ONLY**🚨 on the accounts listed. If someone contacts you pretending to be sent by me or ‘found out’ that I have a secret account that they want to tell you about – they are out to 🚨SCAM YOU!🚨,” he shared. “Don’t be a victim! I don’t know why fans want to believe strangers versus my own posts? If I add a platform; I will have this graphic updated. Am I clear? 🙄.”

Shatner’s latest warning came on the heels of his opening up about a health condition called tinnitus, which he has dealt with for years.
“Over the years, I’ve had many ups and downs with my tinnitus,” he shared in a video partnering with the nonprofit Tinnitus Quest. “I know from firsthand experience just how difficult it can get.”
He continued, “It’s a diverse condition that comes in different degrees of severity. About 1–2% of the population suffer from a chronic, debilitating form of tinnitus. There are no effective treatments—and that’s why we need more research.”
In the clip, Shatner urged viewers to consider donating to Tinnitus Quest.
“The more money we can raise for Tinnitus Quest, the quicker we can find a solution to help the millions of people suffering,” he concluded.
