IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You may be determined to make your mark on the world but don’t get so caught up in making a name for yourself that you forget the names of the people around you. If you treat others as numbers your days together will be numbered as well.

You won’t lack for ideas as the new week begins but you must be bold and do something with them sooner rather than later. By the time Mercury begins its retrograde phase on Friday it may be too late to start a new project.

You are in one of those moods when you worry too much about things that nine times out of 10 you would not give a second thought to. What’s going on in the world may not be fun but, seriously, is it likely to affect you personally?

You may think you can get away with almost anything, and may you can, but this run of good luck you’ve been enjoying won’t last forever. It’s time to wind down some of your more risky activities, certainly by the end of the week.

If you are going to speak your mind about a business or financial matter then you need to stop thinking about it and actually do it. Your words may not be welcome and there may even be a bit of a backlash, but what choice do you have?

Mercury begins its retrograde phase in your sign at the end of the week, so you have just three or four days to get your act together and map out a plan of action that will see you through the next three or four weeks. Do it now.

You may have exceedingly high standards but not everyone you have dealings with can reach the same level and you need to accept that fact. If partners and colleagues can’t keep up with you today don’t be afraid to leave them behind.

If someone you have feelings for seems a bit distant as the new week begins it may be because they think you have been neglecting them. Make it your business to remind them that everything you do is for their benefit as well as your own.

It will pay you to keep a low profile on the work front over the next few days. The less you attract the attention of people in positions of authority the less likely it is you will be drawn into power struggles that can do you no good.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may be impulsive by nature but you are also smart enough to know when to hold back a bit. You don’t always have to be the one at the front of the hunt, so let others set the pace today while you follow safely in their footsteps.

You may not feel much like working today, and that’s okay, but don’t fall so far behind in your schedule that you struggle to catch up later on. How can you tempt other people to do what doesn’t interest you? Can you afford to pay them?

If you want to follow a new path through life you will need to convince partners and loved ones that you are doing the right thing. Communication is the key to getting them on your side, but don’t forget that communication is a two-way street.

A positive approach to life is an absolute must today, especially on the work front where if you don’t feel inspired about what you are doing it’s unlikely you will make a good job of it. If you’re not smiling then you’re not doing it right.
