Shake Shack is giving the dog days of summer all-new meaning this year.
As pumpkin spice-flavored everything takes over grocery store aisles, the popular fast food chain is doubling down on its summer-inspired offers and launching its first-ever “Dog Days” menu.
The new offer is the perfect pairing to Shake Shack’s returning BBQ menu and newly-added fried pickles and features four “bold” takes on Shake Shack’s classic Flat Top Dog made with 100 percent Vienna Beef.

Its classic hot dog isn’t going anywhere, but four new combos that dress it up with more “sizzle” will only be around for a limited time, according to the popular burger chain.
- Angus Beef Chili Dog – 100% Vienna® Beef hot dog topped with Shake Shack’s 100% Angus beef chili and crispy onions on a toasted potato bun.
- High Heat Dog – 100% Vienna® Beef hot dog topped with melted cheddar and American cheese, a hot pepper blend of cayenne, garlic, and paprika, and chopped cherry peppers on a toasted potato bun.
- Fried Pickle Dog – 100% Vienna® Beef hot dog topped with Shake Shack’s fried pickles, chopped applewood-smoked bacon, and melted cheddar and American cheese on a toasted potato bun.
- Crispy Onion Cheese Dog – 100% Vienna® Beef hot dog topped with melted cheddar and American cheese and crispy onions on a toasted potato bun.
- Classic Hot Dog – 100% beef from the pros at Vienna® Beef in Chicago
The prices for each hot dog ranges from $4.99 – $7.99 and to get the campaign rollin’, Shake Shack is offering fans a smokin’ hot deal that gets them any two dogs for just $8 for a limited time.
In other, semi-related news, the burger and milkshake giant is also offering a free Chicken Shack with any $10 purchase–but only on Sundays in July with code CHICKENSUNDAY.
