A charming Ontario hamlet is home to an all-inclusive spa located in a castle

17 July 20252 Mins Read

Ontario is full of charm, and if you disagree, maybe you haven’t explored enough of it! From cute towns to picturesque hamlets, there is always more to discover. One of these beautiful spots is nestled “amid gorgeous rolling countryside” — welcome to Grafton, Ont.

While the name may not sound familiar, you have probably heard of Ste. Anne’s Spa, located in Grafton.

Part of Northumberland County, Grafton is in “spa country,” a place in the province perfect for relaxing and renewing.

The wellness retreat is tucked away in peaceful, rural landscapes, according to Northumberland County.

Grafton can be found on the south side of the county, near Lake Ontario, about 130 km east of Toronto.

And of course, enjoy Ste. Anne’s Spa, while you’re there, because duh.

The all-inclusive spa is within a beautiful 1800s heritage fieldstone country castle, and as someone who’s been there, you’re going to want to snap a few photos of the exterior, because it is truly jaw-dropping.

With a grand entrance, impressive 500-acre property, and undeniable old-world appeal, it’s become a favourite escape for those looking to dial down from the fast-paced lifestyle of the major cities that surround it.

You can stay overnight, or just for the day, but either way, you’re guaranteed to leave feeling zen. There are plenty of all-inclusive packages to choose from, so you can customize your visit to best suit you.

Northumberland County states that this area also offers some gorgeous driving tours, with scenic stops along the way. While summertime is perfect for cruising around, the county really transforms when fall colours take over.

Speaking of fall, you can plan a visit to Moore Orchards, located just outside of Grafton. This farm offers high-quality apples, pressed cider, apple cider vinegar, and other in-season fruits.

Sounds like a relaxing getaway awaits.
