The weekend has rolled up on us faster than we thought. If you still don’t have weekend plans, don’t worry! It’s about to be a really busy weekend, Toronto. From festivals to pop-ups, workshops and more. All you have to do is show up. Here are 10 things to do in Toronto this weekend.

You won’t be disappointed.

Canada’s largest annual festival celebrating the rich diversity of cuisine, music, and art in the Western Hemisphere. And it’s free to attend.

When: July 18 to 20, 2025
Time: Friday, 5 p.m. to late; Saturday and Sunday, noon to late
Where: Nathan Phillips Square
Cost: Free

Join in on all the fun at Woodbine Park! Expect musical acts, food trucks, vendors, a beer garden, and more.

When: July 18 to 20, 2025
Where: Woodbine Park
Cost: Free to attend

Celebrate Toronto’s Black and Afro-Caribbean community with a day of BBQ, ice-cold drinks, local vendors, and live music.

When: July 19, 2025
Time: Noon to 10 p.m.
Where: Stackt Market
Cost: Free

The festival will feature outdoor murals, window displays, and public art installations. Lots to see and do!

Where: Bloor Street West, between Dufferin Street and Lansdowne Avenue

Canada’s largest Brazilian festival is set to bring vibrant energy to a popular Toronto neighbourhood for an entire weekend of music, food, and celebration.

Don’t miss out on the Gerrard India Bazaar to enjoy the food, drinks, entertainment, and celebration.

Need some fresh produce, meats and other treats?

Sundays are literally meant for farmers’ markets, and this one at Harbourfront is pretty great.

When: Saturday, July 19
Time: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: The Commons – 235 Queens Quay W.
Cost: Free admission

On July 20, Ben & Jerry’s is making a pit stop at The Well for a limited time, offering visitors a scoop of their iconic flavours.

It’s all happening at noon, and they’ll stick around until 6 p.m., so you have enough time to head to The Well if you’re out and about.

And with this heat? We’ll take all the help we can get.

Beginner-friendly sewing and upcycling workshops led by Studio Dialectica and the Shared Bag. Here, you can learn how to make your own denim tote bag, hem, sew buttons, or upcycle garments into new pieces. Sign up for individual classes on Eventbrite.

Time: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Stackt Market
Cost: Varies depending on activity

This summer, the team is showcasing Romeo & Juliet, one of the most loved Shakespeare plays. It will be the sixth time this specific play has been done in High Park.

When: Runs until Aug. 31, 2025
Time: Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 7 p.m.
Where: High Park
Cost: $29+ tax
