Kate Middleton's Personal Assistant Makes Shocking Decision to Unfollow This Royal

18 July 20252 Mins Read

Princess Kate Middleton‘s former personal assistant Natasha Archer has apparently unfollowed Meghan Markle on social media after she stepped down from her position with the royal family.

After Archer, 37, made her Instagram page public amid her exit as Middleton’s assistant, fans got to see that she was following more than 400 profiles that included the Prince and Princess of Wales’ account and the official royal family account. However, she has since dropped her “following” count down to 317 and People reported that she is no longer following Markle’s account or the account for her company, As Ever.

Archer also reportedly followed Markle’s close friends Daniel Martin, Delfina Blaquier and Heather Dorak when her page was made public, though those three are no longer on her “following” list as of Thursday, July 17.

Despite unfollowing Markle, 43, Archer has continued to follow Middleton, 43, and her husband Prince William‘s account, as well as King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s royal page.

Additionally, Archer is still following the accounts for royal family members Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice’s husband,Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

It’s not known why Archer chose to remove accounts associated with Markle from her profile, though the decision comes amid rumors that the Suits alum and her husband, Prince Harry, don’t get along with Middleton and William, 43.

Archer was hired by Middleton and William in 2010. She continued to work for the couple for 15 years before her exit was revealed on July 9.

People first reported the news of her exit, and it was said that Middleton and William “wished Natasha the very best for the exciting opportunities ahead.”

Over her years with the royal family, Archer worked her way up and earned her final title of Senior Private Executive Assistant to the Prince and Princess of Wales in August 2022. Three years earlier, she was honored with the Royal Victorian Order for her dedication to serving their family in 2019.

Archer eventually revealed that she left Kensington Palace to start her own “luxury consultancy” business, according to her Instagram bio.
