Denise Richards is remembering her late mother, JoniRichards, on what would have been her 72nd birthday.
On Sunday, July 20, the Wild Things star took to social media to share a birthday tribute in honor of her mom, who died in 2007 following a battle with kidney cancer. She was 54 years old.

While honoring her mom’s birthday on Sunday, Denise shared a sweet throwback photo of her and Joni posing with the actress’ two oldest daughters, Sami and Lola Sheen. Now 21 and 20, Sami and Lola were just little girls in the smiling flashback snap.
Denise’s post, uploaded to her Instagram page, also featured a number of old printed photos, presumably of her mother when she was just a young girl.

“Happy Birthday, Mom in Heaven,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 54, captioned the post.
She continued, “You would’ve been 72 today. We miss and love you so much. 🙏🏼 💕”
“sending you all the love and positive energy denise 🖤” one of her followers wrote in the comments, while another fan added, “She’s got you every step of the way!🥰”
“Sending you strength during this difficult time,” someone else wrote to Denise, who is currently going through a messy divorce from her husband of six years, Aaron Phypers.
