IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement for a new Garner hotel in Kutch, Gujarat, marking the brand’s third signing in India this year.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a franchise agreement for a new Garner hotel in Kutch, Gujarat, with Royal Buildspace LLP. This development is the third signing for the Garner brand in India following its recent launch in the region. The hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026.

The Garner Kutch will be located in Gujarat’s largest district by area and will be managed by Rosastays, a preferred third-party operator for IHG in India. The hotel will feature 40 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a spa, and meeting spaces. It aims to serve business travelers, professionals, and tourists visiting the area for work and leisure.

The signing aligns with IHG’s strategy to expand its portfolio in secondary and tertiary markets in India, where demand for midscale hotels is increasing. The hotel will be situated approximately 6 kilometers from the DP World Special Economic Zone, which is expected to enhance commercial activity in the region.

Rosastays will also manage two other Garner hotels in India, located in Etawah and Kathua, which are scheduled to open in 2026 and 2027, respectively. IHG currently operates 50 hotels across six brands in India and has a pipeline of 63 hotels set to open in the next three to five years.
