Enjoy a summer full of ‘wow’ at Edmonton’s Telus World of Science

23 July 20253 Mins Read

Get ready to blast off into an incredible world of wonder!

Whether it’s one of their laser shows, a Friday trivia night, or an adults-only evening away from kids, Telus World of Science is the spot to check out.

Not to mention, this summer is the best time to see what Telus World of Science has to offer!

Until Sept. 30, guests can save 20 per cent on Science Centre General Admission and IMAX tickets when purchasing tickets online in advance.

What to expect

Currently, it is running its Stardust: The Universe in You feature exhibition, which invites guests to explore the stars and cosmos.

This hands-on scientific adventure guides guests through the Big Bang and the beginning of the universe, through the birth of stars, and into interactive displays where you can create your own galaxy.

In addition to its regular featured exhibitions, Telus World of Science hosts a variety of events.

If you find yourself with a Friday night free, check out its Friday Trivia Nights.

With free entry, this family-friendly evening event promises nightly prizes and exclusive giveaways to participants in six rounds of tremendous trivia fun. There will be questions covering everything from music, movies, and sports to nature, geography, and, last but not least, science.

Looking for something a bit more flashy?

Telus World of Science is running its themed laser shows all summer long. Under the cover of the Zeidler Dome, guests can experience a dazzling array of laser projections set to popular artists.

Check out laser Taylor Swift, laser The Weeknd, or its new addition, laser ABBA.

For those science-inclined adults who aren’t a fan of the kid part of the family-friendly atmosphere, don’t worry.

Sip and Science: Cosmos is Telus World of Science’s latest adult-only event. On Aug. 8, adults are invited to sip cocktails and explore the star-powered spaces at their own pace.

Tickets to this event include full access to the featured exhibition, the hands-on Health Zone gallery, and a special screening of The Sky Tonight in the Zeidler Dome.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s with family, friends, or just an informative date out for yourself; Telus World of Science is definitely worth checking out this summer.
