Make space in your closet for some new outfits because the city is once again welcoming a mega vintage shopping event!
The Toronto Vintage Show will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Building at Exhibition Place from Saturday, Sept. 20, to Sunday, Sept. 21.
Shop till ya drop at this two-day extravaganza, where vintage clothing and decor are the stars of the show, starting from the 1950s up until the Y2K era. We’re talking handbags, accessories, jewellery, home decor, menswear, and more.
Billed as the country’s largest vintage clothing sale, you’ll be able to meander through rows and rows of vendors, selling their best finds.
Tickets will be available at the door, with both credit and debit accepted. For the truly die-hard vintage fans, be sure to sign up for a discount admission pass via email.
With a ton of vendors, like Samantha Howard Vintage, which specializes in modernist jewellery and mid-century ceramics and glass, make sure you give yourself enough time to look through everything.
How to get there? It can be a bit tricky to get to the Exhibition Place; the easiest way is to come from Liberty Village and walk through the GO Train underpass at the foot of Atlantic Avenue or the Dufferin Street Gate.
Don’t sleep on this, as the Toronto Vintage Show is a biannual event. You won’t be able to shop these vintage pieces again until the springtime!
Mark your calendars for the Sept. 21 weekend and shop from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
