Today With Jenna & Friends host Jenna Bush Hager experienced an unexpected wardrobe malfunction during Tuesday’s live broadcast while chatting with supermodel Tyra Banks about undergarments.
The wardrobe incident began when Banks, 51, playfully asked Bush Hager about her choice of bras during their on-air conversation. When the Today show host, 43, responded “You don’t even want to know,” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel decided to investigate for herself.
Banks reached across the interview table and asked if she could peek under Bush Hager’s shirt to see what type of bra she was wearing. As the host lifted her shirt for Banks to examine, she suddenly realized she may have revealed more than intended to the live TV audience.
“Oh, wait, did I show y’all?” Bush Hager exclaimed in shock, immediately recognizing what had happened. “I got scared!”
Banks helped lighten the mood by describing Bush Hager’s undergarment as “very T-shirt-y” and “smooth, as all of America has seen.”
The wardrobe malfunction occurred during a candid discussion about how motherhood changes women’s approach to lingerie and comfort.
Bush Hager admitted she’s “not a super lingerie person” anymore, though she revealed there was once a time when she was more focused on fancy undergarments.
Banks, who is also a mother, shared similar sentiments about how her priorities have shifted since having children. “I feel like I’ve forgotten myself, being an entrepreneur, being a mommy, and I just want comfort,” the supermodel explained.
The America’s Next Top Model creator continued the conversation by admitting her own underwear habits have changed dramatically since becoming a parent.
“My bra now is way up here… I have the same underwear that I just keep washing and wearing,” Banks candidly shared.
