Saying that everything feels right in the world would be a gross overstatement. Things feel far from normal—one might even say things feel a bit strange. It’s almost as if something spooky is coming. Something positively dreadful, like it was ripped right out of our worst nightmares. You know, the recurring one that feels like Tim Burton directed it? Yeah, that one.
Maybe it has something to do with the exquisitely macabre second season of Wednesday, ironically airing this Wednesday, or maybe we’re just all riled up to binge the final chapter of Stranger Things. Whatever it is, we’re practically crawling out of our skin in anticipation. Whether you’re jonesing to do the monster mash or you just can’t wait to go trick-or-treating, spooky season is fast approaching.

The new eek-inducing candy features the iconic mischievous gummies with massively enlarged heads. We’re talking 2x the normal size big. As if that wasn’t scary enough, the heads are different flavors and colors from the bodies, effectively making it look like they were transplanted on by an evil genius. Each bag contains three individually wrapped flavors—watermelon-orange, orange-black raspberry, and black raspberry-watermelon.

Right now, all we know is that these monstrous new gummies will haunt store shelves closer to the end of August and early September, but that hasn’t stopped fans from preemptively losing their heads (pun intended). “I wanna eat ’em by the fistful,” said one person. “These are so fun,” commented someone else.
If your idea of fun is devouring a severed gummy monster head, at least you’re amongst friends.
