Country artists don’t just sing; they break up brawls, too!
Riley Green proved that when he was in the middle of his concert in Estero, Florida, stepping in to settle things down when a fight broke out between two women. Ironically, the country crooner, 36, was trying to unite fans during the ordeal, but he had to pause his rendition of the late Toby Keith’s patriotic anthem “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” to shut down the chaos so that the rest of the audience could enjoy the show.
“Hey, listen, if y’all want to fight, let’s wait till we get done singing about America,” Green joked after noticing the two people in the pit causing a stir. “We’ll all go out back and beat the s— out of each other. But just for a minute, we can unite.”
The moment, which occurred at the Sunshine State’s Hertz Arena on Thursday (Aug. 7), was caught on camera by one concertgoer, who uploaded the video to TikTok, including the caption: “Riley Green stops singing to break up a fight during concert.”

Unfortunately for Green, his band, and the rest of the ticketholders, it took not one, but two times to settle the fight. The second time, the “Worst Way” singer stepped away from his microphone to get closer to the girls in hopes of finding a new way to resolve the issue.
“Well, we haven’t got it figured out yet, hang on,” Green said, after singing a few bars of the song. “We were close. I thought we were united for a second.”
“Hey, listen, y’all got too many extensions to be fighting like that. Y’all gonna pull everything out,” he then tells the squabblers in the pit. “Listen. What’s the problem? Whose got an issue? Are you good now? All right, well, just stay right there and enjoy yourselves. This will be fun.”

Afterward, Green chose to stay closer to the pit, per a second TikTok clip, telling fans, “I think I’m going to stay right here like a parent-teacher conference, keep an eye on y’all.”
