Taylor Swift Reveals Her Unfiltered Opinion on Bad Bunny's Acting Skills

14 August 20252 Mins Read

Taylor Swiftsaid one moment in Happy Gilmore 2 had her “absolutely delighted” — and it wasn’t one with boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The pop superstar, 35, opened up about her favorite part of the iconic sequel while chatting with Kelce on the Wednesday, August 13 episode of New Heights. Though she’s naturally partial to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Swift admitted that Bad Bunny stole the show for her.

“Bad Bunny? He absolutely delighted me in that movie,” the 14-time Grammy winner said of the singer, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. “His comedic timing is so good.” She went on to recount one of her top moments from the Netflix comedy. “His character name is Oscar, and it’s like, his brother gets hit by the golf ball… There’s a face that Bad Bunny makes, and they do the kind of pan or zoom. I was like, ‘Who thought of that? How did they know he could be that way?’”

Swift revealed she watched the scene multiple times, adding, “He’s so funny… I felt so much for his character.”

Happy Gilmore 2, the sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 hit, features returning stars Sandler, Julie Bowen, and Ben Stiller, alongside newcomers like Bad Bunny, Kelce, and Eminem. In fact, the movie had over 60 celebrity cameos in total.

During the podcast, she also shut down fan theories that she made a hidden cameo as a character in a bear suit. “I can deny!” she said with a laugh. “Like, I’m honored to be thought of in that context, because I loved that movie so much… Whoever did the bear’s acting was exquisite.”
