Summer in Toronto is something you have to experience for yourself. And though we’re sad we’re nearing its end, there are still tons of things to do in Toronto that will help keep our minds off it. From evening dances to exciting events and fun experiences, Toronto has plenty to offer this summer. To help you plan, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Toronto. Get ready for a fun-filled week!

Here are 10 things to do in Toronto from Aug. 18 to 22.

Dance the night away at The Well. The open-air space will have free salsa lessons and community dancing under the canopy. Every Tuesday in August, the evening begins with a 45-minute lesson from an instructor, followed by a DJ taking over until 10 p.m., with the best salsa, bachata, and cha-cha music.

For one stunning night, on Aug. 19, 2025, the skies above Toronto’s Fort York will shine bright and come alive thanks to Illumin Drone Shows and Portal Nine Experiences.

Where: Fort York National Historic Site, Toronto
Cost: $118+

Enjoy $15 lunch specials every Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. from restaurants like Haydn’s, Pampered Pig BBQ, Monday’s Off, Oi Sushi, Sunday’s Pasta Lab, and more.

Grab your pals and hit up The Drake on a Wednesday night for some trivia. Join host Aaron Brown, who will ask questions from celebrity chaos and offbeat geography to foodie lingo and themed curveballs; no topic is off-limits. The game starts at 7 p.m.

The top team scores a $100 Drake gift card, while second-place winners walk away with a rotating prize. While you’re there, try the $45 dinner prix fixe before, during, or after the game.

Popular English rock band Oasis is launching a pop-up store in Toronto ahead of its sold-out tour, kicking off in the city this month.

Fans can make their way to 468 Queen St. W., starting Aug. 21.

You’re more than welcome to walk in and check out the selection of merch. Alternatively, to secure your entry, you can fill out an online form and book a time slot.

Each year, the Toronto Music Garden is transformed into a breathtaking open-air theatre, where music and nature intertwine in perfect harmony.

It’s a four-day celebration of romance in the written word, from forbidden lovers to secret flings and everything in between.

Best-selling romance writers and their dedicated readers will be able to enjoy a myriad of activities, and you might meet your favourite author, too. We’re talking meet-and-greets with Alex Aster (Lightlark), Melissa Blair (A Broken Blade), Bal Khabra (Collide), Anna Todd (After), and more.

Canada’s largest fair and Toronto’s beloved end-of-summer celebration, the CNE, is back and bigger than ever for its 146th year. If you’re like us, you’ve probably already started counting down the days until you can stuff your face with Tiny Toms and ride on the Polar Express.

When: Runs until Labour Day weekend on Sept. 1, 2025
Where: Exhibition Place
Cost: Ticket pricing varies

This exhibition will feature over 200 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck of the Titanic, room recreations, and even virtual reality rooms.

If you can’t visit it in Toronto this weekend, the exhibit will be around until the end of September.
