Atlanta’s Hotel Granada Joins Design Hotels Portfolio

19 August 20252 Mins Read

  • Hotel Granada, Atlanta – Image Credit Design Hotels

Hotel Granada in Atlanta has been added to the Design Hotels portfolio and will participate in the Marriott Bonvoy program.

Hotel Granada, located in Midtown Atlanta, has been included in the Design Hotels portfolio. This inclusion allows the hotel to participate in the Marriott Bonvoy program, providing guests with access to the program’s perks and loyalty rewards.

Originally constructed in 1924 as the Granada Apartments, the building underwent significant renovation led by Monomoy Property Ventures and Scarp Ridge Capital Partners. The renovation was completed in August 2024, resulting in a hotel with 120 rooms. The design of the hotel incorporates elements of its Spanish Colonial heritage along with Southern influences.

The hotel features a central courtyard and a signature restaurant named Pom Court. Additionally, May Peel, a cocktail lounge and event space, is located within the premises. The design work was executed by MetroStudio and interior designer Cameron Carr, incorporating terracotta, handcrafted wood millwork, and locally commissioned art.

Hotel Granada is situated near the High Museum and the Atlanta Performing Arts Center. It has partnered with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to feature a permanent art collection curated from SCAD alumni.

The hotel offers various room types and suites, each with distinct layouts and amenities. The Mosaic and Piedmont suites provide additional space and enhanced finishes. The property also includes a courtyard, meeting space, and a boardroom for events.
