Man Rushes The Stage During Country Artist’s Concert In Wild Moment Caught On Camera

24 August 20253 Mins Read

Gavin Adcock recently showed what can happen when folks don’t play by the rules during his concerts. The country star took to Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 23 to share a video featuring the scary moment when an unruly fan jumped over the barricade during one of his shows.

The moment happened during Adcock’s set on Thursday, Aug. 21 at The Wave in Wichita, Kan. — just three days after his charges for reckless driving and violating open container laws were dropped and/or dismissed by prosecutors during a hearing in Tennessee, according to People.

“Can’t have nothing around here,” the caption reads alongside the Instagram clip.

In the seconds-long reel, Adcock appears to be talking to the crowd, announcing the next song he’s about to sing, when someone rolls onto the stage, kicking a sign with the 26-year-old artist’s name spread across the front and one of the microphone stands over in the process.

The incident seemed to catch Adcock off guard as he let out a cuss word and watched as security guards worked quickly to remove the reckless concertgoer from the scene. It appears as though the man tried, but struggled, to get out of one security guard’s grip, resulting in more than five other people intervening during the situation to control the chaos.

Fans Chimed In During The Chaos And Commended The Security Guards Bravery

Adcock, who is known to have a pretty rowdy fanbase, had the audience screaming during the wild ordeal as some folks even yelled out offensive words toward the stage invader’s behavior.

Fans who caught Adcock’s video also praised the work of security for handling the situation in a swift manner. “Get his drunk a– outta here,” Adcock can be heard saying at the end of the clip, which earned comments like, “Give the security guard a raise” and “Dang, that was a take down.”

Segueing away from the unsuspecting moment, Adcock held up a bottle of Jack Daniels and told the crowd, “Well, that calls for a shot of Jack Daniels, everybody,” as seen in a separate fan video, posted to TikTok.

Adcock Recently Released His 24-Track Album, Own Worst Enemy

Aside from touring and being outspoken and unfiltered about his feelings toward country music, Adcock recently released his sophomore album, entitled Own Worst Enemy, out via Thrivin’ Here Records LLC under exclusive license to Warner Music Nashville. The 24-track collection includes songs like “Morning Bail” and “Unlucky Strikes” and follows the singer/songwriter’s groundbreaking debut, Actin’ Up Again.

Of the album, Adcock shared via a press release, “My inspiration for my new album comes from personal experiences and experiences of people around me. I interact with a bunch of different people, and I get to see their side of their life story as well. I just try to take inspiration from real-life things and real-life situations that have brought me to today.”
