Nina Dobrev and her fiance Shaun White enjoyed a farmer’s market date in Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 24. The happy couple walked hand-in-hand, looking at various items to purchase.
Dobrev, 36, wore a belted black maxi dress for the outing while White, 38, went with a pair of khaki-colored shorts, a white T-shirt and a white baseball hat. The Vampire Diaries actress and her athlete beau were joined by their dog, Maverick, who appeared well behaved despite the crowds.
Dobrev and White purchased a large bouquet of flowers and had a sweet ice cream treat, though they didn’t appear to enjoy anything more than each other’s company.

Meanwhile, Dobrev’s 5-carat diamond engagement ring was visible in many of the candid paparazzi photos. She and White got engaged in New York City in October 2024 after five years of dating.
Back in June, White shared a bit of a wedding planning update with People magazine.
“It’s like you took that next step and yeah, it’s just a fun sort of planning phase of life,” White told the outlet. “Like, ‘What’s the next steps, and the next chapter and where do we want to be?’ It’s fun. It’s fun to have somebody to plan all that with.”
“It’s very exciting to have new aspirations and new things that we’re going after and together. It’s very humbling and very exciting, and she’s excited,” he continued. “We’ve gotten a lot of advice from different people who have planned their own weddings and things. So we’re definitely gathering information and now trying to see what’s going to work best for us in any way.”
White said that he and Dobrev were on the hunt for a wedding planner, but didn’t share any specifics as far as a timeline for the couple’s big day.

They kept things hush-hush for a little while, eventually taking their relationship public in May 2020 with an Instagram-official post.
As for what the famous duo is doing now, White retired from competing in snowboarding after his run at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. He finished his career with three Olympic gold medals (2006, 2010 and 2018).
As for Dobrev, she’s been working on two upcoming projects, according to IMDb. Production has wrapped on a film called Bear Country and she’s signed on to be a part of the television series Woman 99.
