The Palace Company has commenced construction on Moon Palace The Grand – Montego Bay, a $700 million resort project in Jamaica.

The Palace Company has started the construction of Moon Palace The Grand – Montego Bay, a new resort in Jamaica with an investment of $700 million. The groundbreaking event was attended by Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and The Palace Company’s CEO, Gibrán Chapur. The development is expected to generate approximately 3,000 jobs.

The resort will feature 1,200 rooms, including overwater bungalows, and will offer amenities such as 13 restaurants and bars, a large spa, a water park, and a FlowRider. Additional facilities include a bowling alley, an infinity pool, and access to a golf course. The project aims to enhance Jamaica’s position in the tourism sector.

The Palace Company previously developed Moon Palace Jamaica in Ocho Rios in 2015, with an investment of $250 million. This earlier project created over 1,200 jobs and integrated sustainable practices into its operations.

The new resort in Montego Bay is part of The Palace Company’s ongoing expansion in Jamaica, marking a decade of operations in the country. The development is positioned to contribute significantly to the local economy and tourism industry.
