The best TIFF parties to check out in Toronto this festival season

27 August 20253 Mins Read

The beginning of September in Toronto can only mean one thing: TIFF season!

It’s these few special days once a year where the city becomes the spot for everything movie magic, and since it’s the festival’s 50th anniversary, you can bet there will be tons of parties to attend.

From celebrity spotting, unique food offerings, and glammed-up fun, the city’s about to be overrun with nightly soirees. Plan your outfits and get ready, here’s where to party for TIFF 2025.

Late-night celebrations just got a whole lot more wild with The Fifth Social Club’s after after party. Bring it down to 225 Richmond Street for the festival opening party and come dressed in your best outfit for a red carpet arrival, step-and-repeat photo booth, all-night dancing, and bottle service too.

Billed as “full-blown rager,” this is the place to be if you want an unfiltered and totally freeing TIFF experience.

Returning as TIFF’s official hospitality partner, Four Seasons Hotel Toronto will be home to many exclusive events that’ll almost guarantee celeb spotting.

September 2 will see the annual kick-off event at d|bar with Chef Daniel Boulud. Though this is a highly exclusive event, you still might be able to catch a couple of elebs here. The iconic Vanity Fair TIFF Party is always a heavy-hitter, and this year it features Ethan Hawke, Baz Luhrmann, and Richard Linklater.

One of the longest-running TIFF industry parties, Young Filmmakers is the place to be if you want to rub shoulders with actors, creatives, executives, and crew members.

Designed to unite both established and budding industry professionals. This year’s fiesta will be held at the Walrus Pub & Beer Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Remember, cocktail attire is required!

The Windsor Arms Hotel is gearing up to host a red carpet exclusive event on September 11. Walk the red carpet in your best ‘fit and dance it up to live tunes from DJ Carl Allen. This iconic bar is also offering bottle service for the event, with an extended last call until 4 a.m.

Take it to 314 Queen Street, aka Soluna Restaurant, for a special kick-off party. With DJ Mahmut Orhan, Sam Haze, and Crunch, this is your chance to start festival season off with a bang! And with a special extended license, last call will be pushed back until 4 a.m..

Special programming

While not exactly a party, Fox on John is doing it up big for the special anniversary with a 4 a.m. last call! From Sept. 4 – 14, head to the bar for live entertainment, special programming, and maybe even a celeb sighting or two.

Happy TIFF, Toronto!
