Frontmezzjunkies reports: The Muppets (and Magician Rob Lake) Are Coming to Broadway
By Ross
I’ve adored The Muppets since childhood, so hearing they’re finally making their Broadway debut is truly thrilling. This holiday season, the iconic puppet gang will join magician extraordinaire Rob Lake as his special guests at the Broadhurst Theatre, and I couldn’t be more excited to see this magical collaboration come to life.
Running from October 28 through January 18, 2026, Rob Lake’s Magic promises to be a phenomenal showcase of illusion, wonder, and entertainment—now with The Muppets adding their signature humor and charm. Lake, acclaimed for his appearances on “America’s Got Talent” and his work on Adele’s Vegas residency, has partnered with the puppets to create a show that will surely be a highlight of the season. As he shares, “It’s like I’ve known them my entire life,” and I believe the feeling is mutual—these beloved characters are about to take the stage in a truly unforgettable way.
While The Muppets have graced Disney parks and TV screens for decades, their long-awaited Broadway run has been elusive—until now. Rumors of a show helmed by Tony-winning director Alex Timbers (Broadway’s Just In Time) have circulated for years, but this will be the first time they step into the Broadway spotlight in this format. Expect dazzling illusions, plenty of laughter, and surprises at every turn.
Tickets go on sale September 4 at RobLakeBroadway.com.
