Marriott Vacation Clubs has opened a new resort in Khao Lak, Thailand, as part of its expansion in the Asia Pacific region, which also includes developments in Bali and an expanded call center in Shanghai.

Marriott Vacation Clubs has opened the Marriott Vacation Club, Khao Lak Beach Resort. The resort is located within the JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, approximately 90 minutes from Phuket International Airport. The development will feature 52 Family Suites, which will be converted into two-bedroom vacation ownership apartments, designed to accommodate up to five guests. The resort will offer amenities such as a lagoon swimming pool, multiple dining options, and various recreational facilities.

In addition to the Thailand resort, Marriott Vacation Clubs is expanding its offerings in Bali. The Marriott’s Bali Nusa Dua Terrace will see the addition of 32 new apartments by early 2026. These will include 16 one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom units, each equipped with a kitchen and a private plunge pool. The expansion will also feature a swimming pool and sun deck.

Furthermore, Marriott’s Enclave at Bali Nusa Dua Terrace is scheduled to open next year, featuring 13 two-bedroom and 13 three-bedroom standalone apartments, each equipped with a private pool and kitchen. Guests will have access to amenities at the nearby Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort, including dining venues, a spa, and a fitness center.

In Shanghai, Marriott Vacation Clubs is expanding its marketing call center. The new office, which opened in summer 2025, increases its workforce from 80 to 125 associates.
