Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the completion of a multi-year renovation of the Grand Hyatt Singapore, located on Orchard Road.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has completed a major renovation of the Grand Hyatt Singapore, located in the Orchard Road area. The project, which spanned several years, involved a comprehensive redesign of the hotel’s facilities, including its 699 rooms and suites, dining venues, and wellness amenities.

The hotel now features two distinct wings: the Grand Wing and the Terrace Wing. The Grand Wing, designed by Tokyo-based firm Strickland, includes 407 rooms and suites with open-concept layouts and design elements inspired by Singaporean culture. The Terrace Wing, designed in collaboration with U.K.-based Grant Associates, offers 292 guestrooms with a resort-like ambiance, incorporating natural elements such as tropical greenery and water features.

The renovation also includes the addition of three Grand Presidential Suites, designed for private entertaining and extended stays. The suites feature expansive living and dining areas, private kitchens, and panoramic city views. The hotel has expanded its number of connecting room configurations to accommodate families and multi-generational travelers better.

The Grand Club lounge has been relocated to the mezzanine level, providing a space for club and suite guests to enjoy breakfast, refreshments, and evening cocktails. The hotel also houses seven dining venues, including Le Pristine Singapore, which marks the Southeast Asian debut of Michelin-starred Chef Sergio Herman. Other dining options include StraitsKitchen, Pete’s Place, Oasis, BRIX, 10|Scotts, The Shop, and Martini Bar.

In terms of wellness, the hotel has introduced Damai, a comprehensive wellness destination that offers treatments combining modern techniques with traditional practices. Facilities include thermal-hydro experiences and a fitness center equipped with Technogym equipment, as well as outdoor wellness lawns.

The Grand Hyatt Singapore operates on 100% renewable electricity and incorporates several sustainability initiatives, including a closed-loop aquaponics system and a contactless waste management system. The hotel is GSTC-certified and has received the Green Mark Platinum distinction from Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority.
