10 tech companies hiring in Metro Vancouver now with awesome benefits

29 August 20255 Mins Read

Vancouver’s tech scene is buzzing — and if you’ve ever wanted in on the action, now’s your chance!

From startups to big-name companies, there are many opportunities for coders, software engineers, data analysts, and everyone in between. And the best part? Most of them come with some pretty awesome perks and benefits.

If you’ve been thinking about switching things up, here are some tech jobs you can apply for in Vancouver right now.

Apple is on the hunt for new talent in Vancouver, giving tech lovers the chance to join one of the world’s most iconic brands.

Perks include comprehensive health and dental coverage, retirement benefits, product discounts, free services, and tuition reimbursement for career-boosting education. Employees also have the chance to become Apple shareholders through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Where: 1067 W Cordova St., Vancouver

Vancouver-based company Klue specializes in competitive enablement (a.k.a. helping companies outsmart the competition), and they’re hiring for multiple roles this fall.

Perks include a hybrid work environment and extended health and dental benefits that kick in from day one. (Yep, no waiting around!) There’s also no set time-off policy — according to them, as long as your work gets done and you clear it with your team in advance, you can take the time you need.

Where: 777 Hornby St., Suite #1600, Vancouver

Vancouver-born social media management company Hootsuite is looking to grow its flock! They’re currently hiring for roles like Senior Software Developer, Senior Data Analyst, and more.

Employees here receive extensive health coverage, including vision, dental, and mental health support, a group RRSP plan with a company match of up to four per cent of base salary, and an Employee and Family Assistance Program. If you’ve ever wanted to work for one of the city’s OG tech success stories, this could be for you.

Where: 111 East 5th Ave., Vancouver

Microsoft has several openings at its downtown Vancouver locations for Software Engineers, Account Managers, and more. Along with the chance to work at one of the biggest names in tech, you’ll score some serious perks — like impressive health coverage, access to educational resources, and even product discounts.

Fintech company Brex, which opened its first international office in Vancouver just five years ago, is looking to grow its team and its presence in Western Canada.

Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP, paid time off, the chance to own shares in the company, plus free lunch and snacks for employees (and you can never go wrong with that, eh?).

Where: 10–1100 Melville St., Vancouver

Telus is hiring across B.C., giving tech lovers the opportunity to make an impact in a company that’s about way more than just telecommunications.

With a flexible benefits plan designed for employees and their families, the option to work in-office, virtually, or a mix of both, a generous company-matched pension plan, and community volunteer programs, this is a great chance to grow your career while keeping life balanced.

Where: Head office at 510 West Georgia St., with remote work options available across B.C.

2K is levelling up its Vancouver team at its Burnaby-based office, hiring game designers, rendering engineers, and more.

Along with the chance to work on some of the world’s coolest games, perks include 14 paid holiday days, paid vacation time ranging from 15 to 25 days per year, parental leave, family planning support, wellness programs, and even reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.

Where: 2025 Willingdon Ave., Burnaby

Tech startup Pilot, an AI-powered travel app, is searching for a product and brand designer here in the city. They are also accepting open applications from anyone interested in joining their growing team in the near future.

You’ll get a competitive salary, equity, and benefits, the chance to pick your own projects, unlimited time off (provided you get your work done and clear it with your team, of course), and — potentially the best perk of all — a four-day work week. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a company that you can grow with, this could be for you.

Where: 1651 Dempsey Rd., North Vancouver, with the option to work remotely

Remitly, the Seattle-born international money transfer company, wants you!

There are plenty of openings at the moment for Software Developers, and you’ll get great health benefits, including mental health coverage, as well as a comprehensive family planning support package and four weeks of vacation per year.

Where: 11 8th St., New Westminster

Okay, we know it’s not exactly a “tech company,” but RBC is hiring across its tech departments for roles in cybersecurity, app development, AI and machine learning, and more.

Employees get access to RBC’s Total Rewards Program that includes bonuses, flexible benefits (including health, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance), competitive compensation, commissions, and access to world-class training opportunities.

Where: 410 Georgia St., Vancouver

Any of these companies pique your interest? Time to get applying. Good luck!
