The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond‘s youngest child, Todd, shared a rare life update on Aug. 30, showing off his relationship with girlfriend Marin Lashley with a sweet message about her and their romance.
On Saturday, Todd posted a new photo to his Instagram Stories of himself with Lashley. In the snap, which was taken by someone walking behind the couple, the two walked down the sidewalk hand in hand as some event appeared to take place in the street beside them.
Todd wore jeans, a maroon and white striped short-sleeve shirt, and a baseball cap, while Lashley donned a white sundress. Todd added a heart emoji between their heads and the message, “And I never can tell her just how much she means to me.”
The line is a lyric from the song “So Damn Sweet” by 49 Winchester, with Todd adding the song to the post.

Todd Subtly Revealed His Relationship Earlier This Year
Drummond’s youngest doesn’t update his social media too often, so it’s rare to get a personal update from the 21-year-old. Because of this, fans were surprised in May when Todd appeared to subtly reveal his relationship with Lashley as he reposted her update that included a romantic image of them together.

Lashley posted a bunch of snaps from Todd’s sister Paige‘s wedding celebrations with her posing arm in arm with Todd. One of the photos also showed him kissing her on the cheek in a sweet moment. While the post didn’t include a clear declaration that they were in a relationship, Lashley’s friends seemed to think it was one, calling it a “hard launch” in the comments.

In June, Todd shared more photos of the two together at the wedding as he celebrated Paige’s nuptials, writing in the caption, “This post may be a month and a half overdue, but that doesn’t make this night any less of a movie! Here’s to the Andersen’s! May your love for each other live long and prosper❤️.”
What Does Drummond’s Son Todd Do?
Alongside his burgeoning relationship, Todd is also playing football at Emporia State University this year. In May, he announced on social media that he had “committed” to the school to play quarterback for their team.
It’s likely that Todd transferred to the school this year to join the team, as he was previously at the University of South Dakota playing football. His last Instagram post about USD football was back in April 2024.

Thankfully, Todd seems excited about his new start at Emporia State University, with the 21-year-old sharing some snaps from fall training camp this month.
