Las Vegas Launches New Campaign Inspired by Iconic Welcome Sign

4 September 20252 Mins Read

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has announced a new marketing campaign inspired by the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, aiming to enhance the city’s appeal as a travel destination.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has unveiled a new marketing campaign centered on the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. The campaign, which will be rolled out over the coming weeks, encompasses a range of promotional activities across multiple platforms, including broadcast television, in-market experiences, and digital media.

The campaign is set to launch with a 60-second advertisement during the Dallas vs. Philadelphia football game. The ad features a narrative of an office worker seeking an escape from routine, highlighting Las Vegas as a destination for unique experiences. The advertisement showcases notable Las Vegas landmarks, including Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, Fremont Street Experience, The Orleans Hotel & Casino, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

As part of the campaign, several initiatives will be introduced to enhance visitor experiences. On September 4, the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign will be illuminated in purple for 24 hours, with resorts and landmarks across the city participating in the display. Additionally, a 3D anamorphic billboard will be launched in Times Square, New York, and a large billboard will be placed on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles starting September 15.

At Harry Reid International Airport, the Terminal 1 rideshare pickup zone will undergo a transformation beginning September 12. The area will feature vibrant lighting, comfortable seating, live music, and a neon selfie wall. During special occasions, live performances and DJs will be present to enhance the arrival experience for visitors.

Another element of the campaign is the “Fabulous Tunnel Walk,” which will debut at Allegiant Stadium during the Las Vegas Raiders’ first home game on September 15. This feature will transform a stadium hallway into a visually engaging space that reflects the spirit of Las Vegas.

The campaign’s title track, “Welcome to Fabulous,” performed by Grammy Award-winning singer Eryn Allen Kane and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Dave Sitek, is available for use in social media posts.
