Yntegra Group has initiated construction of the Rosewood Exuma resort on East Sampson Cay in the Bahamas, with completion expected by late 2028.
Yntegra Group has commenced construction on the Rosewood Exuma resort, situated on East Sampson Cay in the Exuma archipelago of the Bahamas. The development includes 33 bungalows, some situated directly on the beach, and two marinas with 69 slips for private yachts, accommodating vessels up to 120 feet. The resort is set to open in late 2028, following the completion of the first phase by mid-2028.
The project represents a significant private investment in the Bahamian economy, with the first phase creating approximately 250 jobs for residents. Over the long term, it is projected to generate $1.6 billion in economic impact and provide 533 full-time jobs annually. The development is part of Yntegra Group’s 365-acre multi-island project.
The resort is designed to integrate with the island’s natural landscape, with half of the 124-acre site remaining undeveloped. Native plants will be used for landscaping, supported by a nursery capable of growing up to 14,000 trees. Renewable energy sources, including solar power, are planned to supply 30 percent of the resort’s energy needs. The project aims to achieve LEED certification for sustainable building and operations.
The resort will feature a 20,000-square-foot wellness center and six food and beverage outlets highlighting local cuisine. Additional amenities include a children’s club and a sports center with tennis, pickleball, and padel courts. The development is pursuing FitWel certification to ensure a health-promoting environment for guests and staff.
Yntegra Group is also investing in the local community, supporting businesses, schools, healthcare, infrastructure, sports teams, cultural festivals, and workforce development in the Exuma Cays. A job applicant database has been created in collaboration with residents to prioritize employment for locals in various roles related to the resort’s construction and operations.
