Let’s face it, summer is over — not really, but it sure feels like it. But that’s okay! Hoodie season is upon us, and there are still tons of things to do in Toronto that will help keep our minds off the fact that fall is closer than we had hoped. From grand openings to exciting events and fun experiences, Toronto has plenty to offer this week. To help you plan, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in Toronto. Get ready for a fun-filled week.

Here are 10 things to do in Toronto this week.

Canada’s first-ever multi-brand K-Beauty pop-up is coming to Toronto. Happening at 300 King St. E. from Sept. 6 to 8, the K-Beauty Layover event will feature 15 popular and rising K-Beauty brands all in one spot.

When: Until Sept. 8, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 300 King St. E.
Cost: Free admission

Cinema Center returns as the go-to destination for exclusive movie after-parties. Movie lovers can spot their favourite celebrity heading into the space for a pre-movie junket and sit-down interview.

When: Sept. 5 to 11, 2025
Where: 455 King St. West
Cost: Free

Head to the Budweiser Stage and catch The Lumineers live. Tickets are still on sale.

When: Sept. 8 and 9, 2025
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Budweiser Stage
Cost: $103+

Head to The Well for an exciting movie night series hosted by MoroccanOil. Here’s the lineup:

  • Sept. 8, 2025: Devil Wears Prada
  • Sept. 9, 2025: Bridget Jones’ Diary
  • Sept. 10, 2025: Clueless

And it’s all free!

Time: At 8 p.m.
Where: 486 Front St. W.
Cost: Free

The Aga Khan Museum has a “permanent collection of over 1,200 masterpieces and innovative performing arts and educational programming,” and on Wednesdays, you don’t need to worry about paying for admission.

The free admission promotion runs on Wednesdays during extended hours from 4 to 8 p.m.

When: Sept. 10, 2025
Time: From 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: 77 Wynford Dr.

Grab your pals and hit up The Drake on a Wednesday night for some trivia. Join host Aaron Brown, who will ask questions about anything from celebrity chaos and offbeat geography to foodie lingo and themed curveballs; no topic is off-limits. The game starts at 7 p.m.

The top team scores a $100 Drake gift card, while second-place winners walk away with a rotating prize. While you’re there, try the $45 dinner prix fixe before, during, or after the game.

When: Every Wednesday
Time: Game starts at 7 p.m.
Where: The Drake Hotel – 1150 Queen St. W.
Cost: $5 per person

To celebrate MUJI’s grand opening at The Well, they’re marking the occasion with exclusive promotions, complimentary gifts with purchase, a special lucky draw, and a custom MUJI-inspired cake created by local microbakery, Gallz Provisions.

Time: Noon to 8 p.m.
Where: The Well – Lower Ground
Cost: Free

The Toronto International Film Festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and needless to say, it’s going to be big.

The streets will be filled with people hoping to get a peek at their favourite celebrities, those heading to fantastic films, and everyone just enjoying the outdoor festivities. The 10-day festival will definitely pack a punch.

When: Until Sept. 14, 2025
Where: King Street, several theatre locations

This exhibition features over 200 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck of the Titanic, room recreations, and even virtual reality rooms.

If you can’t visit it in Toronto this weekend, the exhibit will be around until the end of September.

When: Open until September 2025
Where: YZD – 30 Hanover Rd.
Cost: $30+ per ticket
