At the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 7, actress Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new film, Couture, surprising fans with her chic yet daring fashion look.

Wearing an elegant brown double-breasted coat dress with tights and black heels, Jolie appeared to pay tribute to an iconic fashion moment of hers from when she attended the Academy Awards 13 years ago with Brad Pitt.

At the 2012 award show, she wore a black strapless dress with a thigh-high slit and posed with her right leg out for everyone to see. The moment quickly went viral.
