IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

If you don’t already have an all-embracing purpose in life then you will get one over the next few months. Events in the wider world will inspire you to stand out from the crowd and speak up about what needs to be done. Lead by example.

You know you need to make changes to your working routine but seem uncertain how best to go about it. What occurs over the next few days will point you in the right direction, so be patient but be ready to act quickly as well.

If a friend or colleague blames you for something that goes wrong today you must speak up and let them know it was not your fault. They can make all the accusations they want to but they are only words and can’t really hurt you.

You will find your voice today and say something that should probably have been said a long time ago. Not everyone will be pleased with your interpretation of events but that in itself suggests they know you are right, so don’t hold back.

Your fun-loving nature will brighten up not only your own life today but also the lives of the people around you. There is something infectious about the Cancer sense of humour and there will be smiles wherever you go and whatever you do.

A financial decision of some importance needs to be made but if you are smart you will give it some serious thought before deciding what to do next. If possible you should get expert advice from someone who regularly deals with matters like this.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun and Mercury in your sign will do wonders for your self-belief this week but don’t start believing that each and every call you make is going to be the right one. You have a deserved reputation for logical thinking and rational behaviour – don’t lose it!

Your charitable instincts will come to the fore over the next 24 hours and that’s a very good thing, but don’t fall into the trap of believing you can solve everyone’s problems because that could bankrupt you financially and exhaust you physically.

A loved one will reveal something today that takes you by surprise, so much so that you may choose not to believe them. However, the planets indicate they are being honest and once you have got over the shock you must offer them your full support.

You may not be cautious by nature but you are smart enough to recognize when you need to ease back a bit for your own self-preservation. You don’t have to push hard and move fast every day of the week, and certainly not every hour.

A problem that has annoyed you for ages has such a simple solution that when you see it you will kick yourself mentally for being so blind. Don’t be too hard on yourself though – you’re not the only one who missed the obvious explanation.

If you get the feeling that a co-worker is trying to manipulate your thinking so you reach the “correct” conclusion you must let them know you won’t be fooled. Let them know too that you won’t be contributing to the costs of their stupidity.

Get together with a like-minded group of people today and draw up a schedule for what you want to be doing together between now and the end of the month. You may be surprised to find that you are all on the same creative wavelength.
