Who Went Home on ‘The Great British Baking Show’ This Week?

19 September 20253 Mins Read

Well, it’s Week 3 in The Great British Baking Show 2025 competition. And while the remaining 10 contestants entered the tent at the start of the episode, only nine would remain by its end. Last week, it was Leighton, a 59-year-old software delivery manager, who was ultimately eliminated from the competition. But it was a hard choice for judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, as there were a total of three contestants whose bakes they didn’t find up to snuff.

So who leaves the tent during Week 3 of The Great British Baking Show 2025? Brace yourself, by now we’re rooting for all of the remaining contestants, so this one is going to hurt. Check out our spoiler-free recap below.

Who went home in The Great British Baking Show 2025 this week?

Pui Man

Pui Man, the 51-year-old bridal designer from Essex, England, is the third baker to leave the tent this season. This shouldn’t necessarily come as a shock, as she was ranked quite low among the bakers during Week 2, but it’s sad nonetheless.

In her exit interview, Pui Man tried to keep her spirits high.

“I’m a little bit disappointed but I was doing well most of the time, but I am part of the ‘Bake Off’ family now so it’s not a bad thing,” she said.

Who won Star Baker in Week 3 of The Great British Baking Show 2025?

Jasmine

It also isn’t terribly shocking that Jasmine, 23-year-old medical student from London, was finally crowned Star Baker in the third week of the season. Jasmine had been slowly making her way up the ladder with the judges, getting noticed for not only the beauty of her bakes, but also the flavor profiles as well.

What were the challenges this week on The Great British Baking Show 2025?

This week it was the often-loathed (gosh, I really want to say loaved) Bread Week. The episode kicked off with the Signature Challenge which tasked contestants with making Pull Apart Monkey Bread. For the second assignment, the Technical Challenge, the cast was instructed to make Glazed Ring Doughnuts. And, finally, the Showstopper Challenge was a Tiered Sweet Bread. Although the Showstopper Challenge always gives contestants the most freedom to showcase their talents and creativity, it can be the most difficult, with each individual typically taking on more than they can chew (pun intended) to create an impressive bake.

Who’s left on The Great British Baking Show 2025?

We now have nine contestants left vying for the title of Britain’s Best Amateur Baker in 2025. They are:

Aaron

Iain

Jasmine

Jessika

Lesley

Nadia

Nataliia

Toby

Tom
