We made it to another week, Edmonton. The next few days are expected to bring some nice weather, and I encourage you to take advantage of it! Let’s get that calendar filled up — fun isn’t just for the weekend. These are 10 of the best things to do this week in Edmonton.

Pick up some local goods at this weekday farmers market!

Be sure to come hungry, as there’s a little bit of everything here.

Here’s something fun and different to do with friends.

Learn to arrange beautiful fall bouquets and take your masterpiece home with you.

There’s never a bad time for a laugh (okay, there is, but this isn’t one of those times).

The Edmonton Comedy Festival kicks off on Thursday, with 12 shows taking place from the 25th to the 28th at stages throughout the city.

Ten days of superior cinema will take over our city starting on Thursday.

Pick a film, grab some pals, and enjoy the 39th edition of this beloved annual fest.

The last Thursday of the month is free admission day at the Art Gallery of Alberta.

Enjoy a free-of-charge visit from 4 to 7 p.m.

Where: Art Gallery of Alberta — 2 Sir Winston Churchill Sq.
Cost: Free

In this edition of the Street Car Cask Party, guests will be able to taste Alleycat and High River Brewing’s exclusive cask beer while riding the historic Edmonton Street Car.

When: Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: 10910 100th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $63.10

Evolution Wonderlounge is helping you get rid of that “Summerime Sadness” with a Lana Del Rey dance party.

According to the event page, “This is your chance to dress up in your Lana-inspired outfit and gather with your community who love their queen as much as you do!”

Western Canada’s largest Oktoberfest celebration is back, and will run on Friday (and into the weekend).

Tickets start at $35.

Time: 6 p.m. to midnight

Cost: $35+

Edmonton’s Halloween tradition begins on Friday, running until Oct. 31.

Over 10,000+ hand-carved pumpkins await — a great spot for a date night or evening out with family.

When: Friday, Sept. 26, 2025
Time: 7:30 to 9:15 p.m.
Where: Borden Park — 7727 Borden Park Rd. NW
Cost: $21.59 per ticket

Also starting on Friday: Deadmonton.

This haunted house has been around for 12 years, and if you haven’t been before, you have to go this season.

Prices vary depending on when you go, so be sure to plan accordingly.
