A new Taylor Swift album is coming out on Oct. 3, and we are seriously jazzed. Titled The Life of a Showgirl, the record’s dazzling cover art and baroque themes are like something from our wildest dreams.

Tay won’t be making her way to Canada before the album drops, but there are plenty of places in Calgary where you can celebrate the new record and hear it live amongst your fellow Swifties.

Here’s our roundup of everywhere in Calgary you can listen to The Life of a Showgirl with your besties!

Calling all Swifties — this one’s for you! On Saturday, Oct. 3, Calgary’s most vibrant nightclub scene will come alive as Sugarush throws the ultimate release party for The Life of a Showgirl. Expect dazzling drag performances, themed cocktails crafted just for Swifties, and Instagram-worthy vibes that capture the heart of Taylor’s latest era. Gather your crew, dress in your sparkliest outfit, and get ready to celebrate in true showgirl fashion.

When: Friday, Oct. 3, 2025
Time: 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Velvet Room – 628 8th Ave. SW
Cost: $20+

Come celebrate Taylor’s new era with music, bracelets, and Swiftie vibes all night long! Doors open at 5 p.m. with a friendship bracelet workshop and listening party kicking off at 7 p.m., followed by a Taylor Swift Tribute live show at 9 p.m.

Swifties Socials is back with yet another enchanting evening to celebrate the release of The Life of a Showgirl at LVL Three Nightclub.

When: Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025
Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: LVL Three Nightclub – 818 16th Ave. SW
Cost: $10

Experience the exclusive world premiere of the “Fate of Ophelia” music video live in theatres, and soak in never-before-seen footage from behind the scenes. This is the official release party with Cineplex and Taylor Swift — make sure you grab your tickets ahead of time!

Celebrate The Official Release Party of a Showgirl in theatres from Oct. 3 to 5. See the exclusive world premiere of the music video, “The Fate of Ophelia,” along with behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot, brand new lyric videos, and Taylor’s personal reflections on songs from her 12th studio album.
