Vintage lovers and thrifting enthusiasts, this one’s for you!

With the seasons changing, the weather getting cooler, and a new wardrobe needed, fall is the perfect time for thrifting. Instead of going to the mall, you can easily find what you’re looking for at any of the best thrift stores in Edmonton.

These vintage spots will help you get your outfits in order, so without further ado, let’s get into it!

Where to go thrifting

The Junque Cellar

The Junque Cellar is Edmonton’s premier antique and retro thrift store, offering an abundance of unique treasures.

This spot is nestled in a basement just on Whyte Avenue, and its atmosphere is unmatched. With endless amounts of toys, clothes, books, and more, this store offers everything you could ever need and more.

Where: 10442 Whyte Ave. NW Bsmt, Edmonton, Alta.

More Than a Fad

This local non-profit thrift store is the perfect way to support the environment and the community in one. All of their profits directly support Adeara Recovery Centre, an addiction recovery centre for women and their children in Edmonton.

Where: 6924 68th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Blenderz

Zero waste is the game they play, and Blenderz excels at it, providing local solutions for responsible textile upcycling.

Blenderz offers pay-by-the-pound, allowing you to choose from their extensive selection. If you’re interested, however, they also offer clothing boxes available in garment sizes for a fun surprise and a great deal.

Where: 8735 50th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

Wildrose Vintage

Wildrose Vintage offers a highly curated 90s and Y2K streetwear-inspired vintage clothing selection. Those interested in college crewnecks and workplace denim should visit, as there is an endless array of options.

Where: 10462 82nd Ave. NW Upstairs, Edmonton, Alta.

Red Pony Consignment

Red Pony Consignment is for lovers of local designers, independent brands, and Canadian makers. Located right on Whyte Avenue, this spot is perfect for hitting up the thrift stores and exploring the city as well.

Where: 9940 Whyte Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.

LoSeCa

Just outside of Edmonton, hidden in St. Albert, is LoSeCa.

Located in Campbell Park is LoSeCa’s thrift store, with the ultra-low price profits going toward offering support and growth for our community of adults with disabilities.

Where: 215 Carnegie Dr. #1A, St. Albert, Alta.
