Minor Hotels will reopen the NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort on December 18, 2025, following extensive renovations.

Minor Hotels has announced the reopening date for the NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort, set for December 18, 2025. The resort, formerly known as Reethi Beach Resort, has undergone a six-month renovation process aimed at updating its facilities while maintaining the island’s natural environment.

Located in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the resort is accessible via a 35-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport. The site is situated near Hanifaru Bay, a location noted for its marine life, including manta rays and whale sharks.

The resort will offer 105 villas, comprising both beach and overwater options. Among these, 16 villas will feature private pools. The beach villas offer direct access to the ocean, while the overwater villas are positioned to provide panoramic views from their private decks.

Dining options at the resort will include seven venues. Among these are Alifaan, a beachfront grill; Kaiyo, an overwater restaurant; and Jumla, an all-day dining establishment. Additional facilities include Madumaithri, located on a beachfront with an infinity pool, and the Aqua Bar, situated next to the main pool. Other venues include Atardecer, a sunset beach bar, and Handhuvaru, a rum bar. The resort will also offer exclusive dining experiences in its wine cellar and through the Adrift private dining option.

The resort offers a range of activities, both on land and at sea. Guests can snorkel at the house reef or participate in excursions to Hanifaru Bay for diving. Water sports, including jet skiing, wakeboarding, and kayaking, will be available. On land, the resort will feature a spa, a fitness center, and courts for tennis, badminton, volleyball, and pickleball. A Kids’ Club and games room will also be part of the offerings.
