  • Hyatt Signs Agreement for New JdV Hotel in Kanpur, India

Hyatt has announced the signing of The Landmark Kanpur, a 170-room JdV by Hyatt hotel, set to open in early 2026.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has signed an agreement for the development of The Landmark Kanpur, which will join the JdV by Hyatt brand. The hotel, located in a prominent neighborhood of Kanpur, India, is scheduled to open in early 2026. Som Datt Landmark Hotels and Recreations Private Limited owns the property.

The Landmark Kanpur will feature 170 rooms, a spa, four dining venues, and various event facilities. Among these is a 7,200-square-foot lawn situated on the 21st floor. The hotel aims to cater to both corporate travelers and social groups. The property is undergoing restoration to align with the design and experience standards of the JdV by Hyatt brand.

This development is part of Hyatt’s strategy to expand its portfolio of lifestyle hotels in key cities across India. The JdV by Hyatt brand focuses on providing independent, experience-driven lodging options.

The signing of The Landmark Kanpur is a step in Hyatt’s plan to strengthen its presence in India’s commercial and industrial hubs.
