Hilton has opened its 9,000th hotel globally with the launch of the Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa in Texas.
Hilton has announced the opening of its 9,000th hotel, the Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa, located in Texas. This milestone marks the company’s rapid expansion, with an average of nearly three hotel openings per day since reaching the 8,000-hotel mark one year ago.
The new resort features 496 guest rooms, including 34 boutique-style villas and an adults-only floor.
Hilton’s growth strategy has led to several recent achievements, including surpassing 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels globally. This year, Hilton has signed agreements for over 200 luxury and lifestyle properties.
In addition to the new opening in Texas, Hilton has expanded its presence in various regions. The company now operates over 1,000 properties across the Asia Pacific region and in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Hilton has also announced plans to significantly expand its footprint in several key markets. This includes a tenfold increase in India, a tripling of its portfolio in Africa, a quadrupling of its presence in Saudi Arabia, and surpassing 250 luxury and lifestyle hotels in the Asia Pacific region.
In the United States, Hilton has surpassed 6,000 operating hotels, with additional milestones including 200 hotels in Canada, 500 in Florida, and 100 in Italy.
Currently, Hilton has more than 3,600 hotels under development worldwide. The company reports continued strong demand from property owners for its brands.
