Make these fall-flavoured mocktails for Thanksgiving | Canada Voices

2 October 20251 Min Read

Pouring a luscious pinot noir with the turkey or stirring up a classic whisky cocktail by the fire at the cottage are part and parcel of the Thanksgiving long weekend for many Canadians.

It wasn’t so long ago that suggesting a swap for non-alcoholic options would have been met with some raised eyebrows, and maybe even Uncle Bob questioning whether you have a bun in the oven. Times are changing though, and serving mocktails instead of cocktails is becoming more common in a new era of moderation.

Chances are there will be some guests at your table who aren’t drinking alcohol and might be looking at the sparkling water selection with disappointment.

This is your chance to practise inclusive hospitality and help everyone from your gen Z niece to your father-in-law feel included. Here are four easy and elevated non-alcoholic recipes celebrating the flavours of fall that everyone will love.
