Simphony Kiosk enhancements give operators the agility to better meet changing customer needs with grab-and-go, pre-order, or scan-and-go options
Oracle today announced advanced self-service capabilities for Oracle Simphony Kiosk. The hardware advancements, including the ability to flip the screen in the Workstation 8 from order-taking mode to self-service ordering, enable operators to easily deploy grab-and-go, pre-order, or scan-and-go service models to best meet the needs of their venue and guests. With these new capabilities, arenas, restaurants, hotels, casinos, and cruise ships can benefit from streamlined order processing, significantly reduce wait times, and optimize efficiency to enable an elevated and intuitive guest experience.
“Agility, speed, and ease of service are more essential than ever in turning customers into lasting and loyal fans of your brand,” said Alex Alt, executive vice president and general manager, Oracle Consumer, High Tech, Manufacturing, TT&L, Professional Services. “With Oracle Simphony Kiosk we’re continuing to provide our customers the modern technology and experiences needed to delight their own customers—all while making their operations more efficient and opening new opportunities for revenue growth.”
Primed to adapt to varied hospitality environments, Oracle Simphony Kiosk delivers a modern interface and seamless point-of-sale integration. For bustling stadiums and arenas, self-service kiosks expedite high-volume ordering while reducing manual errors and management overhead. Compact countertop kiosk models fit perfectly in restaurants and hotel lobbies, enabling grab-and-go convenience in tight spaces. The flexible, dual-purpose Workstation 8 further empowers operators with customizable, branded touchpoints, allowing staff to transition seamlessly between guest-facing self-service and traditional order-taking modes to maintain excellent service quality throughout peak and off-peak times.
