Friends and families all across Canada are getting ready for the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend, crafting menus and organizing who’s taking on hosting duties this year. But the holiday is always changing, from managing tastes and dietary restrictions to new rules for guest etiquette.

On Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. ET, food culture reporter Dakshana Bascaramurty and food writer Julie Van Rosendaal will be answering reader questions on how to make the best of Thanksgiving this year, from the hottest recipes to bring to your potluck to the trends to jump on – and avoid.
