The Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons set is finally here

Watch out for those demobats

First announced in July, the Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons game Welcome to the Hellfire Club is here. That means players can finally join the Hellfire Club to take down demodogs (and worse) together in Eddie Munson’s honor.

The tabletop game’s launch was announced via a trailer on the official D&D YouTube channel, featuring a player uncovering the game in an attic, along with now-deceased Stranger Things character Eddie’s last will and testament. The will declares that “You, my friend, are the future of Hellfire.”

Meant for three to five players (plus a DM), the set can be purchased via the official Dungeons & Dragons website, and comes in three variations:

  • Digital format: $20 USD
  • Physical format: $50 USD
  • Ultimate Bundle: $60 USD

The Ultimate Bundle allows players to save $10 on the physical game board and digital adventure pack, and also includes an exclusive Upside Down Digital Dice Set, Upside Down Digital Map, and Sticker Pack.

D&D has played a role in Stranger Things since season 1, with “Hellfire” referring to the in-universe high school’s D&D club. When Eddie met an untimely end in season 4, the campaign was left unfinished. But now, players can (literally) pick up the pieces. Here’s hoping it lets you take down some demobats, too.
