Little Debbie fans are counting down the days until this seasonal treat makes its grand return–and we’re almost in single digits.
The legendary snack cake brand, like many other food and beverage industry leaders, has found extreme success with seasonality and it doesn’t seem to matter what time of year.
In the summer, fans go wild over the Red, White and Blue collection and its ice cream line, then come fall, it’s all about the Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Creme Pie. As we inch closer and closer to the chilly, winter months, all fans seem concerned with are Little Debbie’s Christmas Tree Cakes (which Parade previously reported to be returning this year, bringing with it a new spinoff and coffee creamer) and its Cherry Cordial snack cakes, which appear to be making a slow comeback to shelves this season.
Little Debbie Cherry Cordials Return Ahead of Winter Holidays
Little Debbie’s fan-favorite Cherry Cordials offer a similar flavor profile to the classic confection that inspired it.

The treat takes a tart, cherry-flavored creme and sandwiches it between two soft vanilla-flavored cookies before coating the entire sweet in a layer of chocolate.
Historically, it has only been offered as part of its winter holiday collection, but some consumers claim the treat has been hard to come by these last few years.
“The cherry ones are my favorite and I haven’t been able to find them anywhere in the last 5 years 😩😔,” one Instagram user wrote in response to the news.
“Cherry cordials! ❤️😍,” a second simply declared before a third also cheered, “Cherry Cordials!!”
“I would like to try the cherry cordials,” another said adding that they’ve “never had them.”
“Love this time of year. 🎄,” someone else rejoiced.

Where to Buy Little Debbie’s Cherry Cordial Snack Cakes
As of writing, Little Debbie has yet to formally announce the arrival of its winter holiday offers. That said, Parade editors did find several current product listings that suggest the items are on their way to stores. Trusted food bloggers are also reporting the seasonal collection–which includes several other limited-edition treats–is expected to be on shelves at most major retailers (like Dollar General and ShopRite) on or around Thursday, Oct. 30. So far, shoppers say they’ve spotted the Christmas Tree cakes at Walmart and Target locations, so we would expect the Cherry Cordials to be heading there shortly, too.
