It’s finally time for the grand return of the Ice Castles.
The Ice Castles are a must-see winter phenomenon, and they’re returning to Edmonton after a five-year hiatus. These magical castles are only available in five locations, and Edmonton is one of the lucky cities! This celebration has been ongoing since 2011 and remains one of the most sought-after winter attractions.
What to expect
There are a variety of things to do and see when you visit the Ice Castles.
You can delightfully race down one of the exhilarating ice slides designed for people of all ages. Or, perhaps you’d like to explore one of the passageways, designed for children and adults who enjoy a challenge.
A frozen maze awaits you at this attraction, with endless ice caverns decorating the area. Tucked away throughout these beautiful structures, you can discover the elaborate hand-carved ice sculptures.
For those adults looking to attend, you’re able to step up to the frosty ice bar and order a winter-themed alcoholic beverage! Enjoy a cool drink at the guaranteed coolest place in the city.
