10 things to do this weekend in Toronto (Oct. 31-Nov. 2)

30 October 20254 Mins Read

It’s an INSANE weekend in the city. The Blue Jays could win the World Series, and it’s Halloween on Friday. It’s safe to say that with just these two big happenings, there will be plenty to do, and we’ve put together a full itinerary. Here are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.

Halloween on Church

Canada’s biggest Halloween party is back!

From 6:30 p.m. to midnight, Church Street from Carlton to Gloucester will be shut down and packed with people ready to party Halloween style.

Where: Church Street from Carlton to Gloucester
Cost: Free admission

The Art Gallery of Ontario is hosting an epic night of bingo, but better.

The festivities will include drag performances, prizes, and beverages.

When: Friday, Oct. 31, 2025
Time: 7 p.m.
Where: Art Gallery of Ontario – 317 Dundas St. W.
Cost: $30 per person (general admission)

Ripley’s Aquarium is transforming into a spooky oasis for Halloween evening.

Expect late-night dancing, themed cocktails, tarot card readings, access to all the exhibits, snacks, and more.

When: Friday, Oct. 31, 2025
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Riley’s Aquarium – 288 Bremmner Blvd.
Cost: $60 per person

While there will be plenty of sports bars playing Game 6 on Friday, Nathan Phillips Square will also be broadcasting the matchup for free.

The watch party will also include a DJ, who will play sets between innings to keep the party going.

When: Friday, Oct. 31, 2025
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Nathan Phillips Square – 100 Queen St. W.
Cost: Free admission

Ace Hotel’s lobby, or should I say lair, is another Halloween party you can consider if you haven’t picked one yet.

Best costume wins a night at the Ace Hotel free of charge, so come in your best fit!

When: Friday, Oct. 31, 2025
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Ace Hotel – 51 Camden St.
Cost: Free admission

Happening Saturday and Sunday, Evergreen Brick Works is putting on a massive Día de los Muertos celebration.

There will be food, shopping, art installations, walks, and workshops for guests to check out.

When: Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Evergreen Brick Works – 550 Bayview Ave.
Cost: Free admission

Switching over to holiday mode, Toronto’s biggest one-day outdoor Christmas Market is back at The Bentway.

The Toronto Art Crawl Christmas Market will feature 140 artists and vendors, and is a perfect place to do your holiday shopping.

When: Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025
Time: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: The Bentway — 250 Fort York Blvd.

There’s nothing better than a night market, and this one is happening all evening on Saturday, highlighting local businesses and vendors and live entertainment by reggae artists.

Admission is free.

When: Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025
Time: 1 to 11 p.m.
Where: 1609 Eglinton Ave. W.

The Old Mill is keeping the party going into the weekend.

“Dance the night away to eerie musical favourites, summon spirits with your best costumes, and enjoy a fright-filled celebration that’s sure to give you chills,” it shares.

The best part is that admission comes with a three-course dinner.

When: Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: The Old Mill – 21 Old Mill Rd.
Cost: $105+ per person

Cheer on the Raps as they host the Grizzlies this weekend at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
