IHG Hotels & Resorts to Open Crowne Plaza in Multan, Pakistan

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement to open a Crowne Plaza hotel in Multan, Pakistan, expected to launch in early 2028.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a franchise agreement with Serene Tower (PVT) Ltd. to develop a Crowne Plaza hotel in Multan, Pakistan. The hotel, named Crowne Plaza Multan, is scheduled to open in early 2028. This will be the first Crowne Plaza in the city, located within the DHA Multan community.

The 200-room hotel will be part of the Serene Tower development, situated along Bosan and Mattital Roads. This location is noted for its connectivity across the Punjab region, catering to various sectors, including corporate travel, meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), as well as golf, education, and healthcare tourism.

The new hotel will include modern guest rooms, dining venues, meeting spaces, a fitness center, and a swimming pool. These facilities are designed to accommodate the needs of both business and leisure travelers. The development is part of IHG’s strategy to expand its presence in high-potential cities, leveraging growth from infrastructure development and increasing tourism.

The Crowne Plaza Multan will join IHG’s global portfolio, which currently includes over 415 open hotels and nearly 150 in the pipeline.
