One for the Yaoi fans, the live-action adaptation of 10Dance is coming to Netflix in December 2025! The film will star Takeuchi Ryoma and Machida Keita as Suzuki Shinya and Sugiki Shinya, who fans can’t wait to see a steamy on-screen romance. Here’s everything we know about 10Dance on Netflix.
10Dance is an upcoming Japanese Netflix Original film directed by Keishi Otomo and written by screenwriter Yoshida Tomoko, who adapted the story from Inoe Sato’s manga of the same name.

When is 10Dance coming to Netflix?
Netflix has officially confirmed that 10Dance will be released on Netflix on December 18, 2025.
An official trailer has also been released.
What is the plot of 10Dance?
Suzuki Shinya and Sugiki Shinya are both famous dancers, with Suzuki as a Latin dance champion and Sugiki as a standard dance champion. Suzuki is an awful loser and dislikes the comparisons made between him and Sugiki. However, Sugiki invites Sugiki to compete in an intense dance competition for competitors who have mastered both standard and Latin dances.

Suzuki rejects the invitation at first, deterred by the reckless notion of aiming for the top, as it would require both Shinyas to teach the other their. Unable to overcome his competitive nature, Suzuki reluctantly accepts the invitation. Despite sharing the same name, the two are polar opposites and clash often, but their hard work to bridge the gap results in the pair growing closer, as Suzuki begins to realize he may be attracted to the angry but passionate Sugiki.

Will the movie adapt the entire manga?
Considering the manga is still ongoing, and there are over 40 chapters, each of which has anywhere between 25 and 57 pages, that’s a lot of source material for 2 2-hour film to adapt.
It’s possible the film can adapt the entire story, but there’s always a chance it will adapt just enough to set up a sequel.
Who are the cast members of 10Dance?
Machida Keita plays Sugiki Shinya. The actor recently starred in the popular Netflix series Glass Heart and the live-action adaptations of Yu Yu Hakusho and Alice in Borderland.

Takeuchi Ryoma plays Suzuki Shinya. The actor starred in the live-action adaptation of the video game Like a Dragon: Yakuza. He has also starred in the lead role in films such as Akira and Akira, Hatsukoi Loss Time, and Sensei Kunshu.
