TFE Hotels Opens First UK Adina Properties in Cambridge and Glasgow

TFE Hotels has opened two Adina properties in Cambridge and Glasgow, marking its entry into the UK market.

TFE Hotels has expanded its Adina brand into the United Kingdom with the launch of two properties. The Hobson Cambridge opened on November 24, 2025, while The Wellington Glasgow is set to open on December 8, 2025. These openings represent the company’s initial foray into the UK as part of its broader European strategy.

The Hobson Cambridge is located in a Grade II listed building on St Andrew’s Street. The 56-room hotel is housed in the historic Hobson House, which has been restored to preserve its original architectural features. The property offers studio-style accommodations with kitchenettes and open-plan living spaces, catering to both short and extended stays. Additional facilities include a private meeting room and a restaurant named Oz & Isle.

The Wellington Glasgow, located in the historic Wellington House, will offer 98 rooms. The aparthotel features a mix of Studio Rooms, Studio Premier Rooms, and Studio Premier Rooms with sofa beds. Each room includes an open-plan living area and a kitchenette. The hotel also provides amenities such as a gym, meeting space, and a lobby shop with a café bar.

These developments are part of TFE Hotels’ strategy to increase its presence in Europe. The company aims to offer flexible, design-focused accommodations in major cities. Both properties are centrally located, providing guests with easy access to local cultural sites and transportation.

The expansion into the UK is seen as a strategic move to strengthen TFE Hotels’ footprint in Europe and lay the groundwork for future growth in the region.
