Hotel Indigo has launched a new property in Torquay, United Kingdom, marking its latest addition to the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio. The hotel, located in the coastal town of South Devon, is owned by Singapore-based Fragrance Group and will be managed by IHG Hotels & Resorts.
The newly opened Hotel Indigo Torquay features 153 rooms and suites. The hotel’s design draws inspiration from local maritime heritage and the surrounding seaside environment. The property aims to integrate elements of the local culture and history into its design.
The hotel is situated near several local attractions, including Torquay Museum, Kents Cavern, Princess Pier, and Torre Abbey Sands. This location provides guests with access to various transport links and tourist sites within the region.
In addition to its accommodation offerings, the hotel features the Root & Reef Bistro, which highlights local fishing and farming traditions by offering a menu that incorporates local produce. The hotel also plans to open The Cast rooftop bar in Spring 2026, offering panoramic views of the bay.
