Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Inmobilia Desarrollos have announced the opening of the Hyatt Place Mérida / Vía Montejo, a 142-room hotel in Yucatán, Mexico.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Inmobilia Desarrollos have opened the Hyatt Place Mérida / Vía Montejo, marking the second Hyatt-branded hotel in the Yucatán state. The hotel is situated in the Vía Montejo development, a mixed-use area in Mérida, Mexico. This new property is located directly across from the U.S. Consulate and approximately 20 minutes from Mérida International Airport.
The 11-story hotel features 142 guestrooms with city views and amenities for both business and leisure travelers. Each room includes separate spaces for sleeping, working, and relaxing, along with a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper and a seating area.
Vía Montejo, where the hotel is located, is a mixed-use development that includes residential buildings, commercial spaces anchored by the Harbor Lifestyle Mall, and corporate offices. The development also houses a new U.S. Consulate and Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The hotel offers several dining options, including a complimentary breakfast at the Breakfast Bar, a 24/7 Market with grab-and-go meals, and The Placery, a lobby bar serving specialty coffees and alcoholic beverages. Additional amenities include an outdoor terrace and pool, a 24/7 fitness center, and complimentary self-parking.
Hyatt Place Mérida / Vía Montejo offers 1,077 square feet of meeting and event space, including two meeting rooms that can be combined for larger events.
The hotel is strategically positioned to benefit from the Tren Maya and IE-Tram route, enhancing connectivity to beaches, archaeological sites, and cities such as Cancún and Tulum.
